Approximately 8 minutes by taxi / 15 minutes by bus from Noboribetsu station (JR Muroran line).

An authentic japanese style hotel with beautiful Japanese gardens surrounding the open air hot springs.
The gardens here are praised as some of the most beautiful in Hokkaido, so what better way to relax.

The water in Takinoya onsen is natural and is not heated mechanically.
It is good for neuralgia, rheumatism, compound fractures, burns, hemorroids, female disorders, atrophy, eye diseases, sensitivity to the cold and skin diseases.

Other than the baths in the gardens there are:
A male only bath (big enough for 50 people).
A female only bath (big enough for 20 people).
Both are open 24 hours, all year round.

Male and female sauna - which is free.

All rooms are tastefully furnished in traditional Japanese style and have their own bath and toilet.

If you like privacy while you relax, the 'special' rooms have their own private open air baths (see photo below).
Takinoya takes extraordinary pains to select the freshest products in season from both the sea and the mountains, it creates its menu with the utmost care, and serves it in the serenity of your Japanese-style room, where each dish can be savored in a quiet and relaxed mood.

The menu is changed monthly.
